Alrededor de la bah\u00eda hay muchas cosas interesantes que ver, empezando por el emblem\u00e1tico Marina Bay Sands (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/jAjJQKojCzV8w2zv5\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google maps<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), un edificio formado por tres rascacielos unidos en lo alto por una estructura con forma de barco donde se encuentra la famosa piscina infinita. Dentro hay de todo: casino, hotel, centro comercial, centro de conferencias, etc., etc. Recomendar\u00eda dar un paseo por el interior del Marina Bay Mall; es un lugar muy extravagante, incluso hay un canal donde puedes dar un paseo en barco, y algunas marcas, como Louis Vuitton y Apple, han instalado tiendas bastante singulares. En el segundo piso hay una sala rodeada por miles de estatuas de Buda y dedicada a la oraci\u00f3n; el segundo piso estaba cerrado al p\u00fablico durante mi visita, pero, por lo que entiendo, alberga una biblioteca y una peque\u00f1a galer\u00eda. En el tercer piso hay un peque\u00f1o museo; en el cuarto est\u00e1 la pieza m\u00e1s preciada, que muchos vienen a ver: la reliquia del diente de Buda. Por \u00faltimo, en la azotea hay un hermoso jard\u00edn con una rueda de oraci\u00f3n gigante en el centro. La entrada es gratuita, pero, de nuevo, aunque se pod\u00eda acceder, se estaban realizando trabajos de restauraci\u00f3n, as\u00ed que digamos que no fue precisamente una visita memorable. Hoy sigue siendo un lugar agradable para pasear por las orillas del r\u00edo Singapur. Tambi\u00e9n recomiendo visitar el contiguo Fort Canning Park (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/Ctag3Yi47SitGDYT6\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google Maps<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). El parque, construido sobre una colina, sirvi\u00f3 como sede del gobierno local y, m\u00e1s tarde, como centro de mando militar de los brit\u00e1nicos. Alberga el b\u00fanker donde se tom\u00f3 la decisi\u00f3n de rendirse ante los japoneses, que luego lo utilizaron como centro de mando durante la ocupaci\u00f3n de Singapur. Estas instalaciones, introducidas en la d\u00e9cada de 1970, no son m\u00e1s que la respuesta de Singapur al caos de la comida callejera que caracteriza al Sudeste Asi\u00e1tico. B\u00e1sicamente, se crearon espacios regulados para los distintos puestos, con zonas comunes donde la gente puede comer. Una comida suele costar entre 3 y 6 $.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Est\u00e1n repartidos por toda la ciudad, pero digamos que el viajero promedio probablemente solo visite los m\u00e1s cercanos al centro, donde se encuentran las principales atracciones tur\u00edsticas. Hay centros comerciales literalmente en cada esquina a lo largo de la calle. El m\u00e1s emblem\u00e1tico, por su peculiar estructura, probablemente sea ION Orchard (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/FFgnhyzM2mRzCFmn7\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google Maps<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). No creo que sea algo imprescindible, pero para algunos parece ser uno de los puntos fuertes de su visita a Singapur.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<div id=\"botanical-gardens\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/div>\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Jardines Bot\u00e1nicos<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los Jardines Bot\u00e1nicos (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/2d4nUtLpExgZAixS6\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google Maps<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) de Singapur se convirtieron en Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO en 2015 y son, sin duda, de los mejor cuidados que he visto. La entrada es completamente gratuita y podr\u00edas pasar f\u00e1cilmente horas paseando, pero, si quieres organizar tu visita, creo que sin duda vale la pena visitar el Rain Forest (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/UXU3SzGvmmtoubvaA\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google Maps<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), uno de los pocos fragmentos de selva tropical primaria que quedan en Singapur, ya que estuvo a punto de quedar arrasado por el fuego durante la ocupaci\u00f3n japonesa.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si est\u00e1s en Singapur un s\u00e1bado, recomiendo participar en alguna de las <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nparks.gov.sg\/sbg\/visit-us\/guided-tours\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">visitas gratuitas que ofrecen los voluntarios<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Particip\u00e9 en la de \u00abRain Forest\u00bb, que dura aproximadamente una hora, y me pareci\u00f3 muy instructiva. En el centro de visitantes de la \u00abNassim Entrance\u00bb (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/WFtBS1AjxZgd72j98\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google Maps<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) hay un c\u00f3digo QR que puedes usar para inscribirte. No hab\u00eda wifi y yo no ten\u00eda una tarjeta SIM local, pero el personal fue muy amable y comparti\u00f3 conmigo su conexi\u00f3n m\u00f3vil. Hay m\u00e1s de 1000 especies de orqu\u00eddeas y un invernadero dise\u00f1ado para simular las condiciones de un bosque de monta\u00f1a entre los 1000 y los 2000 metros. Todo muy bonito y bien cuidado.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por \u00faltimo, no te pierdas el que quiz\u00e1 sea el \u00e1rbol m\u00e1s famoso de todos los jardines: el viejo Tembusu, de m\u00e1s de 200 a\u00f1os, que aparece dibujado en el reverso del billete de 5 $. Si te interesa, a poca distancia est\u00e1 el Heritage Museum (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/UVwsQCivMQBfQEdw7\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google Maps<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), que cuenta la historia de los jardines bot\u00e1nicos. En general, el sistema es tan eficiente que da gusto usarlo.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Autobuses en Singapur<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En general, los autobuses llegan donde no llega el metro, pero personalmente nunca los necesit\u00e9. Si te limitas a las principales atracciones comentadas en esta gu\u00eda, el metro es todo lo que necesitas. Durante mi estancia de 5 noches gast\u00e9 exactamente 295,13 $, que, al tipo de cambio del momento de la publicaci\u00f3n de este art\u00edculo, son 206,95 \u20ac, o 41,39 \u20ac al d\u00eda.
